why things like pitchfork saved my life

a cordial review

This review is not a ringing endorsement. Surely no one, ever could bring themselves to say that this here smashmouth cd is the cd you should listen to more than any other one. Even rollingstone would have suggested that it'd be more worth my time to listen to the new Mick Jagger , but still. In order to preserve an aesthetic-judging institution, isn't it necessary to reject some, terrible applicants entirely? Or, to use a different metaphor, why was rollinstone here being so casual about it's malignant, cancerous infection? True critical panning can be lifesaving procedure. Why bother with pleasantries with something a thing that should not be in your company in the first place? Our critical lives will last longer if we have the foresight to cut this stuff out before it's five years later.

Gotta write that Benjamin Button review...
